FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On October 21, 2025, the Ida County Sheriff's Office and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation arrested Megan Louise Montgomery, 41 of Ida Grove, Iowa.

She was arrested on an outstanding Ida County warrant charging her with Willful Injury, and Child Endangerment causing serious injury. Each charge is a class "C" felony. The arrest was the result of an investigation that began on September 11, 2025 in Ida Grove.

The Ida County Sheriff's Office, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and the Ida County Attorney's Office conducted the investigation.  

Ms. Montgomery was booked into the Ida County jail and released after posting $10,000 bond.
